	Andrews six keys to normal occlusion are essential for a balanced and stable occlusion in
	orthodontic patients. Bolton further gave the seventh key Boltons ratio which is as important as
	Andrews key during orthodontic diagnosis to achieve best possible esthetic and functional outcome
	for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. Extraction of premolars during orthodontic
	treatment have known to cause changes in the Boltons overall ratios and affect the interarch tooth
	size discrepancies in these patients. 106 pretreatment study models with different malocclusions as
	per Angles classification were subjected to Boltons analysis and Boltons overall ratios were
	calculated for all study subjects and compared with the ratios obtained after hypothetical extraction
	of premolars of different combination to determine their effect on overall ratios. In all malocclusion
	groups, it was observed that extraction of 55 and 54 affected the Boltons overall ratios more
	significantly as compared to extraction of 44 and 45.

	Gagging is a normal defense mechanism which prevents foreign bodies from entering the trachea,
	pharynx or larynx1.An exaggerated gag reflex is a known hindrance to dental procedures 2. In such
	cases, any therapeutic procedure will be clinically challenging, both for the dentist who is unable to
	perform quality work, and for the patient who is unable to overcome the sensation, thus rendering
	the procedure difficult, even impossible3. Gagging-related problems accounted for approximately
	20% of dental avoidance cases4. Two main categories of gagging patients have been identified:
	namely the somatogenic group and the psychogenic group5,6. Acupressure/acupuncture7,8,9is an
	efficient, methodical and coherent non invasive Interventions other than behavioural and
	pharmacological method.

	Background: Resistant and specially Multi Drug Resistant (MDR) Gram negative isolates from the
	cases of Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI) are a serious challenge for the
	treatment to clinicians. Present study was undertaken for phenotypic characterization and
	susceptibility pattern of Gram negative bacterial isolates from cases of CLABSI in a tertiary care
	institute.Materials and Methods: This descriptive cross sectional hospital based study was
	conducted in a tertiary care teaching hospital over a period of one and half year from January 2012
	to June 2013. CDCs CLABSI case definitions were used to label a case as CLABSI. Only culture
	proven cases, out of clinically suspected was included in the study for evaluation. Results:
	Incidence Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infections were (0.31%) with 38 culture positive
	cases. The overall rate of CLABSI was 14.64 per 1000 device days with (0.04) device utilization
	ratio. Gram negative isolates predominated (79%) over Gram positive isolates (21). Among Gram
	negative bacterial isolates from CLABSI, Klebsiella pneumoniae (40%) was the commonest
	followed by E. coli (26.66%). %). Rising trends of antimicrobial resistance for common Gram
	negative bacterial isolates especially multi drug resistance was noticed.Conclusion: Continuous
	surveillance of CLABSI and microbiological reporting of culture isolates is a need of time in the
	health care facility.

	To overcome the elastic recoil of the periodontal supporting fibres and to allow remodelling of the
	alveolar bone, retention is usually necessary following orthodontic treatment. Fixed retainers are a
	reliable form of retention for avoiding relapse and maintaining dental arch shape.1-4 Traditionally,
	bonded retainers have been attached to the teeth with composite. Various composites have been
	described for use in this technique including both restorative and orthodontic bonding materials.5
	With the advent of effective, new bonding materials, many orthodontists prefer to use canine-tocanine
	or premolar-to-premolar bonded retainers to obtain optimal retention of lower anterior teeth
	both functionally and esthetically.6-8Retention is an important phase of the Orthodontic treatment,
	which is under the patient control i.e. usage of the retainers. It is a necessary stage of the successful
	long-term management of most orthodontic patients. Precision in fabrication, accuracy during
	placement on the teeth, and avoidance of any irritation to the gingiva are necessary requirements for
	a lingual fixed retention.9With the advent of acid etching and bonding in Dentistry, fixed lower
	lingual retention has become very popular. The limitation of using the traditional lingual bonding
	with composites is that, the difficulty in removing the adhesives completely from the tooth surface.

	The present study aims to compare the effect of a period of microneedling and surgical vein cut
	usage in the treatment of women with varicose leg. For this purpose, 30 women were selected as
	subjects with varicose veins of the lower limb. After randomization of subjects into three groups of
	10 people, for 20 weeks, a meeting every 4 weeks and a total of 5 sessions using microneedling and
	surgical vein cut was conducted on patients. The control group did not have any therapeutic
	intervention. To analyze the data, paired and independent t-test were used at a significance level of
	05/0 P. The findings have shown that among the measured values the improvement index before
	and after the test for microneedling significantly increases and decreases respectively 05/0 P. The
	results showed that the use of microneedling can be used as a safe and effective treatment in people
	with varicose veins of the lower body. The study showed a 76 percent reduction in the size of the
	ankle after treatment of the groups receiving surgical vein cut.
